The #TrueToFood Tour 2022
The countdown to my week-long trip as the guest of Signature Kitchen Suites to Napa Valley has begun! I am so honored to be joining a group of 33 other talented designers from all across the USA and Canada selected to attend this very special sponsored trip, a collaboration between the luxury appliance brand, Signature Kitchen Suite and Veronika Eagleson’s Design Hounds influencer marketing network.
I invite you to follow along on the hashtag, #SKSxDesignHounds as we experience the “True to Food Tour 2022”. Our hosts have prepared an inspiring, educational and fun agenda and I can’t wait to bring you all of the insights I will learn and to share with you the beauty of Napa Valley via my STORIES and REELS over on https://instagram.com/thymeandplacedesign.
Who is Signature Kitchen Suite?
Well, if you’ve been a reader of my blog, you may remember I wrote a post a short while ago titled Meet a New Brand of Luxury Appliances. Simply click the blue link to refresh your memory about the amazing evening I spent with some of my fellow Design Hounds at Signature Kitchen Suite’s Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey headquarters. Signature Kitchen Suite was also represented in my blog when I wrote about my visit to The New American Home in Orlando during my trip to KBIS this past February – a home which featured Signature Kitchen Suite’s luxury appliances.

Sous Vide cooking built right into the range
In 2018, Signature Kitchen Suite’s pro-style range earned the coveted “Kitchen Product of the Year Award,” the pinnacle of the 2018 Product Innovator Awards bestowed by Kitchen & Bath Business in recognition of superior product innovation – due to this range’s built in sous-vide – the first of its kind. As quoted in K&BB Magazine: “Signature Kitchen Suite embraces a new generation of forward-thinking cooks, combining their passion for food with their appreciation of innovation. We call them, Technicureans.™ And we are keeping them True to Food with the best built-in appliances, featuring leading-edge technology that provides more flexibility to prepare food in the best possible way.”
Countdown to Napa: The Food
Amazing vineyards and eateries are on our agenda next week. In addition to learning about the brand, we will be taking tours to sample food and wine from the region all week. In addition, I will be trying my hand at cooking with the appliances in their state of the art Experience Center, shown in the last image.
Above all, it is important that I bring you the best advice on the perfect appliances for your kitchen. For example, I was really impressed with the award winning pro range I just discussed – with built-in sous vide – when I visited their headquarters. Sous vide has taken home cooking by storm. In particular, I am looking forward to getting some tips and tricks from Signature Kitchen Suite’s esteemed Chef Nick. I can’t think of a better way to learn than from such a highly qualified chef. Here is a recipe from Chef Nick for scallops cooked sous vide that you can try right now at home.

The Experience and Design Center
Signature Kitchen Suite’s Experience & Design Center was designed with environmental sustainability at its core. The facility is 100% powered by renewable energy and is carbon-neutral certified. As I am a long time member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council, that is a very important detail to me. This is where, for a full day next week, we will experience firsthand all that Signature Kitchen Suite has to offer professional chefs and home cooks alike – those who really want to own appliances that have been designed to be as true to cooking food to perfection, as possible.
