Meet A New Brand of Luxury Kitchen Appliances
Signature Kitchen Suite
Being a member of the Design Hounds influencer network gives me access to some amazing industry events. I recently had the honor of being chosen to attend the SKSxDesignHounds Summit held at LG Appliances’ new headquarters building in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, home of their luxury appliance brand, Signature Kitchen Suite.
This event was organized by Veronika Eagleson, founder of the Design Hounds Influencer Network. Our day started with an introduction to this LEED platinum facility by their director of operations. He explained that the headquarters building generates 31% of its power from solar panels.
This impressive 27 acre complex contains gardens and walking trails. Employees have a gym and a cafeteria providing healthy food options. Employee wellness is a top priority. From the moment you enter the building you can see their commitment to luxury, quality and sustainability.
Meet Signature Kitchen Suite Luxury Kitchen Appliances
The 48″ Dual Fuel Range
First, for all you *technicurians* out there [ their name for those who are tech oriented serious cooks } meet their award winning 48″ range which comes complete with a built in sous vide on the surface, gas burners with a wok ring and induction burners. In addition, it has a the built in steam oven which bakes and broils and there also is a full size convection oven. Not only does the range speak 3 languages but it also has a sabbath mode as well as smart Wi-Fi technology and built in speed cleaning. Looking for convenient features? Each burner knob has a built in timer. As you can see, there is so much more to this range than meets the eye.
Wine and Refrigeration
Next meet the food and wine preservation suite of appliances. SKS offers great options for wine storage and food preservation. Integrated wine columns are available in 18″ and 24″ widths. Both sizes incorporate their exclusive Wine Cave TechnologyTM to provide protection from wine’s four biggest threats: vibration, light, and variations in temperature and humidity.
SKS offers refrigeration columns, which are available in several sizes. Not only are the shelves fully adjustable, they are individually illuminated. Wireless charging powers the shelf lights. In addition, SKS offers chiller drawers which have refrigeration or freezer modes. Equally important, all the units can be serviced from the front eliminating the need to uninstall them for servicing.
The LG Exploratorium
After we were introduced to Signature Kitchen Suite luxury appliances, we experienced the LG Exploratorium. Showcasing technology for local school field trips, the Exploratorium is designed for hands on exploration. Visitors can walk through an aquarium tunnel then create and name their fish which they then release into the aquarium. How about a robot artist who draws your portrait? Visitors can also test a driverless car or star in a video and can try their luck at an interactive vacuum game which makes cleaning your room so much more fun!
After a delicious lunch, all of us who were invited sat together and collaborated on new ideas for products. The executives at LG Appliances really wanted to hear from us, the professionals who design kitchens for our clients every day. Our opinion about their products matters to them. I was really impressed.
If you are planning a new kitchen or just an update, take a look at Signature Kitchen Suite luxury appliances. This company is committed to being #TrueToFood and building quality appliances that genuinely enhance your kitchen experience.
