High Point Market Fall 2021: My Favorite Finds

High Point Market Fall 2021

As I write this post, I am just wrapping up my trip to High Point Market. Although my travel plans had more issues than our current supply chain woes, I am glad I was able to attend. I will say this market had a different vibe. I am thrilled to bring you my favorite finds from High Point Market Fall 2021.

Instead of complaints of extended lead-times and lost in transit items, designers were talking about making connections, developing relationships and understanding the manufacturer. It was a kinder gentler market. I have to admit, I did like it…..a lot!

Colors Rule

Neutrals still rule the day but pops of color and glam were everywhere. Bright florals, stunning saturated yellow, green and pink were included across the board from pillows to art work. Every showroom had a bright touch of “happy” designed to inspire. Everyone was looking for some good cheer and we certainly did find it.

Blue and green were the standout color trends I saw. In the Chelsea House showroom I blended in perfectly with a soft shade of blue I just happened to be wearing.

Thibaut’s showroom had beautiful shades of rich deep green featured in their wall coverings, trims and fabrics.

Over at Wildwood Home, a great little bar wore white with brass accents on the outside but with a spin of the doors, a bright turquoise interior was revealed.

Craftsmanship and Sparkle

Abner Henry once again sparked the imagination with a beautiful walnut console set on a brass metal base.

My award-winning designs haven been featured in multiple magazines, industry publications and on television. That’s nice affirmation, to be sure.

But perhaps the greatest accolade I’ve received is the repeat engagements with so many clients, project after project, year after year.
